The trail season will be coming toward an end, the North Shore will be in its peak autumn beauty, and Arrowhead Enduro Club will be gathering for a Meet and Membership Drive on Saturday & Sunday, October 10 & 11, at the Alger Grade Parking Area.
This will be a perfect time to hang out, see old friends and make new ones, and share camaraderie in likeminded company. This informal event is for members and non-members alike; for anybody interested in the Alger Grade and London trails, and the general topic of dirt bikes. Heck, you don’t even need to be a rider, we’d still love to talk with you about the trails and dirt biking. Arrowhead Enduro Club puts in a ton of work every year so that these premier OHM trail systems of Alger Grade and London are available to the public, and we truly love to see and hear about people enjoying them!
This is an informal event, and there’s no fee to attend. That being said, AEC will be offering a bonus at this event only: if you sign up for your 2027 Arrowhead Enduro Club membership while visiting with us at the Fall Meet, we’re going to discount the annual membership rate by 20%! So, if you sign up or renew onsite (pay by cash or check), the discounted 2027 membership will be only $20 for an individual or $40 for a family. That’s a heck of a good deal to be part of the club that is the boots on the ground keeping this recreational opportunity a reality. We’ll be staffing a sign-up table Saturday 8:00-10:00 and 4:00-6:00, as well as Sunday morning 8:00-100. If it’s outside those hours, just track down one of the Club reps and we’ll get you taken care of.
Paid dues are a big help to the Club in our mission, and active members are crucial! Dollars help pay for tools and supplies, and it takes bodies and time to clear blowdown, move rocks, build bridges, and clear back the persistent overgrowth. We’d love to talk with you about trail work, the features that make trails enjoyable, and the kinds of things we might like to do in the future. You don’t need to join, but we’d sure appreciate it if you did!
Oh… of course our Fall Meet will be on the doorstep of the trail systems, which will be fully open to the public, as usual. The Fall Meet does not include a formal trail ride, and there won’t be any special event preparation of the trails. While the Club isn’t directing any riding, YOU are of course welcome to go ride the trails if you choose to do so - same as any day - and we’d love to hear your stories and thoughts!
Looking forward to seeing you in October!
